Director of Independent Engineers. As
a leader in the mining resources sector has advised equity and debt
providers on the structures and approaches to complex development
and implementation projects.
Respected role in setting best practices in project management,
feasibility studies, controls and contracts. Has been task leader on
major performance or investment reviews of mining, processing, power
and industrial projects.
Since 1988, has lead the development of Enthalpy to become a
respected and successful organisation capable of managing and
advising on structuring and implementing complex major mining
projects.
Previously Divisional General Manager for a heavy engineering
contracting group. Controlled the full range of operations, field,
estimating and financial functions for central and branch
organisations.
Prior role as Executive and Precontracts Manager for Davy McKee with
national responsibility for commercial aspects, in the development
of projects.
Experienced Project Manager in the resource sector with exposure in
minerals, oil and gas and industrial building sectors. Mechanical
Engineer by training, with multi-discipline skills and an
orientation towards commercial and project control aspects of the
mining, resource and industrial sectors.

on the US$450M Tenke Fungurume Copper Cobalt Project, Democratic

feasibility study, establish a data room for equity and debt due
diligence, management of calling tenders for EPCM and EPC services,

El Boleo Project (US$600M), Mexico, establishing contractual agreements,

adviser to Queensland Magnesia Project. Assisted with enquiry
preparation, evaluation and contract negotiation for EPCM Contractor.
Prepared project procedures, execution plans, established cost
control systems and reporting methods. Client representative team
leader with a direct role over the implementation and start up
phase. Retained as project adviser on management and project controls.
Transferred to site to lead the Enthalpy Project Control Team.
Acting Mine Manager during latter phases of construction and throughout
the commissioning period.

Construction Manager
responsible for supervision and project management control for
Cyprus Gold Australia Corp. on the Moline mine in the Northern
Territory. Establishment of cost and schedule control systems,
contract and QA/QC administration. Lead a team of four engineers
from Enthalpy and completed the project in 28 weeks.

Project Adviser
to Gordonstone Coal Management Pty Ltd evaluating the development
of a new U/G Coal Mine and surface facilities. Assisted with structuring
the project, prepared the budget for early definition activities,
inputs to the overall contracting strategy. Established an Enthalpy
project team to work in conjunction with the client to select
and co-ordinate a number of consultants and engineering organisations.
Audit of final study reports and estimates.
